Disney California Adventure’s newest ride is an improvement on an old one. The popular “Soarin’ Over California” ride was reimagined as “Soarin’ Around the World,” providing guests with a thrilling globe-trotting journey. The hang-gliding flight simulator features an 80-foot tall concave domed screen that creates an immersive experience that’ll make you feel like you’re actually taking flight. This unique adventure takes guests over the real-life Matterhorn in Switzerland, the Arctic Ocean, across the African plains where a herd of elephants roam, over the Eiffel Tower, and many other landmarks.
